Quoting myself from the thread in the TV&S section;

I'll be starting out from the cathedral, quite happy to lead as I know a good route down through petworth but was thinking of incorperating a quick detour down to the tunnel and back up to Milford.
I don't want to be a kill joy, I enjoy an early morning hoon down to goodwood but recently and this event last year the police had a scamera van and a few officers with speed guns along route so we will need to keep an eye on the speedo.
That's actually a better route and means we can go through the tunnel in both directions. Note there are average speed cameras all the way through the tunnel so I would expect everyone to religiously stick to the speed limit albeit in a few gears lower than normal.

You can turn off at hindhead, go back to the old hindhead traffic lights (now a set of mini roundabouts) and then get down to Petworth and the goodwood road via fernhurst and the outskirts of midhurst. It's not a bad route but the main milford to petworth road is more fun in my opinion.

Totally agree with what everyone has said about there being a lot of police speed traps set up. Didn't someone in a veyron get done for doing 120 + along the A27 a few years ago?

I have work at 10am so I'm going to need to step on it and beat the entry queue onto the site at Goodwood.

I'll probably leave Guildford Cathedral at 6.40-45 just to get a head-start if anyone wants to join me.

This is a totally optional to the main group's route or plans

From the email that Goodwood have just sent out today:

"This Sunday’s Breakfast Club event, ‘Supercar Sunday’, will include a collection of the ultimate high performance cars and bikes. Vehicles registered so far include a Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari 599, Mercedes-Benz SLS and a Ferrari 458 Spider. As well as the stunning array of cars on the Motor Circuit there will also be an adrenalin-fuelled high performance aerobatic display by ‘Ultimate High’.

If your vehicle matches the theme for this month's Breakfast Club, you may be selected to park it on the grid, where your pride and joy will be admired and envied by fellow Breakfast Clubbers. Limited space is available on the grid, so to improve your chance of securing a place on the hallowed Goodwood Motor Circuit, register your vehicle now and get here early Sunday. Gates open at 08:00hrs.

Make sure you enjoy a tasty breakfast while you admire the grid. You can choose from a sit-down full english under the Pit Lane, a delicious bacon butty from the Naffi Wagon in the paddocks or try something from the Goodwood Organic Farm mobile kitchen by the Richmond Lawn"

Not sure if it's 'bigger'. As for being less scared, I doubt it, the classic car bunch are a hardy lot smile

I've been to a Supercar Sunday when it was raining a few years back. TBH it was still a good turn out but a lot of people left early.

I'll be there come rain or shine. If you let the British weather put you off you'd never get out lol.

Only two more sleeps ; )
