Enjoyed the morning. Weather was filthy driving down from Oxfordshire but improved when we got to Goodwood. A good turn out of cars given the forecast we had albeit I'm sure we would have had twice the number if the sun had come out.
Well done to everyone who made the effort to bring their pride and joys along.

I made it down in Healey.
The rain on the first leg of the journey was just horrendous but the lil' 100/4 soldiered on and my word was it worth it. The drive through the lanes roofless was just sublime and the eclectic mix of cars on display was just superb -

Agreed! - Last time a remember a breakfast club like that was a good couple of years ago. No queue to get in, grass car parks open, dry (at Goodwood at least!)
Great day!

I went along yesterday in the good company of my brother-in-law, he succinctly summarised things:
"Ah! The smell of burning oil and frying bacon!"
I enjoyed looking at the old 'ordinary' cars, a trip back in time. The Morris Minor with the SD1 3.5 litre engine was a treat. A first rate morning.

In reponse to a comment above, yes that is a Chevette. I'm afraid she's rather tatty at the moment buts its taken a couple of years to get her back on the road and sorted after a contretemps with some Armco near Oxford. There is also the minor fact that this is my "everyday driver" so putting her into a garage for months on end isn't really an option unless it can't be avoided. Its rather nice to see that someone took a photo of us (and a rather good one at that) - thanks!

A very relaxed event, like they used to be. Not a Ferrari in sight, anyway!!

Was a very relaxed event in contrast to the manic supercar Sunday. Great selection of cars both modern and classic, something for everybody!
Parked up the mini on the grid amongst good company. Highlights for me included the super clean modded mk1 Escort and the V8 moggie.
