Breakfast club Sunday 4 August
Discussion
I think this was the best Breakfast I have been too.
A fantastically eclectic mix of cars.
Still some typical Goodwood oddities slip through but overall a really good selection of cars.
No where near the madness of Supercar Sunday too.
For me this was a very welcome return to form for a Goodwood Breakfast.

...I hope it doesn't end up as a massive Aston fest and the classics get ignored.
Well that didn't happen did it! There were probably more E-Types than anything else Anyway nice drive down, hooking up with a Healey 3000 and a TR3. Got into the circuit around 8:00 with no problems at all. I could probably have gone on the grid but decided I would just park on the track so that I could leave as and when I wanted.
Sunbeam Tiger
Gordon Keeble - great badge
HRG - Harold, Robins & Godfrey
Piper. I used to see these being built from the bus to and fro school in the late sixties.
Sooooo pretty
Frazer Nash
Every other car was an Aston. Or maybe not.
Abbotts of Farnham - an Aston connection...
This isn't it
XK-SS
dmn, LSI, are you watching what I'm posting here?
This one's for me
A convertible one of these went over the side in The Italian Job in place of the DB4 Convertible. Freeze frame it if you don't believe me. It's left hand drive. Not a lot of people know that.
A Caterham? Tell me more.
This what I went in to Goodwood. Thanks, Jon.
Some Police forces used these as interceptors a farzand years ago.
6.3? Holy maroley.
I'm not sure, but it could be an
ALPINA
Gates Open at 08:00. Official. We got there at 07:45 and it was rammed.
Astons everywhere.
another nice day out! never quite sure about the Theme’s though. I have been there in my ultima on a pre 66 day and got onto the grid, yesterday got there with a 1965 Merc pagoda – pre registered and didnt get anywhere near, the brand new Maserati behind went onto the grid. ?
I think the answer is just get there early 7:30am latest and whatever you drive as long as it’s “a bit different” you will get in. I think the pre-register bit is a waste of goodwoods time really, I guess it gives them an idea of number of bacon rolls to buy
Great to see it’s still free and well supported.
