Will, what shutter speed are you using for your tracking shots? They're nice!

Thanks.

Varied but usually 1/80 to 1/140 from memory.

It was very much a case of "hit and hope" though!

I was the chap in the red top hat and drivers goggles, on the Saturday hehe that made for a cracking photograph, overlooking the site, from atop the Ford stand yes the photo was a very nice keepsake. If I hadn't have 'mislaid' my wallet getmecoat, I was all set to take myself down to my Ford dealer and place an order for a Fiesta ST, as soon as all my new cards are with me, I'll be on the case yes. It's just a shame I (apparently) can't get it in candy blue though confused. Hey ho I like that dark blue metallic colour as well, or maybe the orangey colour scratchchin. Decisions decisions thumbup.
This was you? I stopped you and asked for a photo as I thought you looked ace - Top work!

EFA - Wolfgang Firedrichs and Simon Hadfield. Agreed, great race and a brilliant drive by Hadfield who did the second stint. biggrin

p.s. Some excellent shots on your Flickr page smile

From Fortyonesix.com "In a thrilling finale to the RAC TT Celebration race the Aston Martin Project 212 of Wolfgang Friedrich and Simon Hadfield snatched the lead with just two minutes to go – before taking the chequered flag in shockingly wet and windy conditions, as second place man Anthony Reid in the Lister-Jaguar spun into the barriers."

I think that is the adapted version they called Mirage M1 and ran at Le Mans in 1967. It has a different shape cockpit roof for better aerodynamics.

Quite embarassing: I use an Olympus E PL3 with a fixed lens. Useless for actionshots but good enough for the paddock. I did not take my D300 because my wife was with me so I had not enough time to take pictures.
