Has anyone here bought the official FoS 2013 DVD and if so how did you find the picture quality? On my setup (Panasonic) it is not very good at all, there is severe interlace combing and the picture judders when anything moves.

Whilst trying to track down the problem I've discovered that the disc is NTSC format - however that isn't the issue as I have other Goodwood DVDs that are also NTSC and my player handles them ok (although why they are not PAL for the UK market I don't know).

I'd be interested in hearing other experiences, good or bad.

Apologies for those who saw my similar post on fortyonesix but it doesn't seem anyone there has bought it.

I've just sat down to watch my copy and I'm having the same problems. The quality is very poor, especially when showing anything that is moving like you say.

Has Goodwood acknowledged this problem at all?.

Thanks for the reply. I posted on Goodwood's FortyOneSix forum and was told it was being looked into but I have heard nothing since. I intend to take the FoS disc back for a refund when I next visit the track as I consider it unacceptable.

The Revival DVD does not suffer from the same movement jerkiness but again the picture resolution is poor, certainly not what you would expect for the price. It must be a problem with how the DVDs were authored, there was no problem with the programmes shown on ITV ... I wish I had kept my recordings of them.

Could I suggest calling goodwood or email? I doubt staff often sit in work on the forums.

Has anyone bought this year's FoS and Revival DVDs? I'd like to know that the don't suffer the same problem as last years FoS DVD before shelling out for them.

Update: I've bought and watched both DVDs now. Although the resolution is still not good, neither of them exhibit the combing and stuttering picture problems of last year's FoS disc.
