Will there be a stop at Guildford Cathedral on the way down? Anyone know what time?

Would be interested to join here if possible...

Got my pass today. Can anyone PM the m25 meet details? Will be coming from East London.
There will always be a decent number of cars running down from London. I once joined a convoy of a Countach, two diablos and an original AC Cobra, we made quite a noise!

If you just want to strop down the dual carriageway then the A3 is the way to go. personally I just love the Midhurst (A286) and Petworth (A283) roads. You need to be snappy with some of your overtakes but would urge to add extra caution as the Midhurst/Petworth loop is a favourite with bikers and believe you me, they are rarely throttling back.

I'm picking up a mate in Weybridge so if there were a Guildford Cathedral plan it might be interesting to hear about it.

To be honest though, unless you are properly early morning, you are unlikely to get a clear road on a 'Goodwood Sunday' and convoys get disjointed along the way. Equally if you don't know everyone in the convoy, there is always the risk of someone coming along with rather more throttle weight than talent. We've all seen it.

Anyway, I'll cast my sensible shoes off now, where are the Onitsuka's!

please post here or pm me if there is a meet on route down from west london, passing guildford. I usually go down through petworth.

Im sure we are all forewarned but likely there will be mob cameras and also plod with guns... Ive seen them a couple of times even in the villages going down there.

Got my free pass a few weeks ago [admittedly it was a pass from Mrs Hurstg01 to be allowed to go smile] and I hope the weather holds out - I'm taking my son, his best mate and best mates dad smile

I think you will need to leave earlier than that, I'm aiming to be AT Goodwood for 7am! If the weathers good its very, very busy.

The car parking set up is better these days. I'm arriving then so will be no problem.

Seems a lot of us are asking the same questions here, what time at Guildford Cathedral?
How about we start our own and say 6.30-7am any thoughts don’t want to tread on any toes or mess with anyone plans though.smile

We are looking for a Supercar to display at Goodwood to promote The Supercar Event. We have a pass so it can be someone who hasn't got a ticket. Please post on this thread or pm me details if you are interested.
