I'm leaving Radlett, Herts at 6.15, picking up a mate in Chobham, Surrey arriving GWD around 8.

We are looking for a Supercar to display at Goodwood to promote The Supercar Event. We have a pass so it can be someone who hasn't got a ticket. Please post on this thread or pm me details if you are interested.

I'm going, Red Ultima GTR, have circuit access. Leaving very early from South Bucks via Walton upon Thames and then to be there for 8am.

What is the best route down from the A3? B2141, A286 or A283 or other. Many thanks

a3 through the tunnel, naturalment Rodney, turn off at Petersfield services. Through the town to South Harting and onwards to Chilgrove. Fly along the valley and turn right at the t junction towards Lavant. Thru Lavant village then hit the Lavant straight, cracking 15 miles.

Hello,

What time you planning on being around Walton Upon Thames? I am heading from a similar direction so could meet up on route?

Rolls Royce are celebrating 110years of manufacturer on Sunday.

Here's from the RR press site:

Goodwood. Three very special contemporary Rolls-Royce motor cars – Wraith, Phantom Coupé and Ghost - will be displayed at the ‘Supercar Sunday’ Breakfast Club meeting at the Goodwood Motor Circuit, a short distance from the company’s Head Office and Manufacturing Plant.

Looks great on google maps, think I'll head that way! Then probably A283/A285 on the way back.

Will bring my Gopro and hopefully catch some of you guys!

Unless you particularly want to see the town centre I'd suggest you come off at the junction before Petersfield services, the one marked with the brown "historic market town" sign. At the end of the slip road, take a left (first exit) on the roundabout for the A272 towards Midhurst then after a couple of hundred yards down the hill turn right immediately after the garage into Pulens Lane, which joins onto the B2146 Harting road.

Apart from avoiding the railway crossing and the Farmers' Market in the town square, the main advantage of this is that the garage belongs to classic race car and McLaren specialists Lanzante, as discussed in this topic. No guarantees but they sometimes have the covers off the cars when there is a Goodwood event on.

It's a shorter route anyway.

So it looks like only 1 or 2 meeting at the cathedral? Have checked the other forums but can't see anything - considering how busy this used to be Have I missed something? I will be there with two mates in my vrs and their boxsters for a 630 departure anyway.

Never been to a breakfast club, what time is the best to arrive to park with the great unwashed ?

I'll be coming from Worthing way either in a black S4 or blue MX5 if anyone is coming from that direction.

which goodwood entrance is it for the normal parking as the goodwood website has no post code or road name and I need to spend 20 mins programming the 11 year old sat nav in my car with a decent route
