which goodwood entrance is it for the normal parking as the goodwood website has no post code or road name and I need to spend 20 mins programming the 11 year old sat nav in my car with a decent route
Looking on google maps, the fields that were used for revival and fos are off New road, the circuit is on clay pit lane, hth.

Got my pass too - well some felt it was a super...er....car in 1963!
Good luck to you, I'd have taken the Aston but didn't think it would fit the theme. As it is I'm struggling with dire abdominal pains so won't be going anyway. frown

p.s. For those wondering, it will all be very well signposted as you get close to the circuit.

All was quiet the night before SUPERCAR SUNDAY......

Just the slight noise of a polished and waxed GT2 looking forward to a run out to Goodwood.

Looking forward to this, weather is promising (http://uk.weather.com/weather/hourByHour/Chichester+WSX+United+Kingdom+UKXX0899:1:UK?pagenum=2&nextbeginIndex=6) and I have the onerous task of piloting my mates FF for the drive down (I have some very nice mates it seems! smile ). See you down there, we'll be in Grigio FF thumbup

From the exhaust notes I can hear from the A283 already, a lot of people are going to arrive very early!

Entrance to the public parking (field) is on Kennel Hill, north of the circuit:

Agreed. I've just got home and thought it was total insane. You could not count the number of amazing cars, let alone photograph all of them. The pre-reg thing seemed to work very well as everyone knew where they were going and there wasn't any hold ups for me in or out.

What a selection of cars! cool

Is Mrs Duggan blonde? I got a nice smile and a thank you when I let a female oranage RS driver out at one of the roundabouts when leaving, nice car!

Yes it was busy, but get there early and leave early is my tip

I got there just before 7:30 and although wasn't expecting to park in a wet field (wrong shoes!), I was grateful not to be leaving the car inside the circuit. Absolutely heaving. A very good turnout and a broad selection of cars to wander around, but I'd had more than enough of the crush after two hours. So being away from the meandering public meant it was easy to extract my car and head for the road.
A detour via Petersfield Farmer's market to pick up some stinky local camembert and a few cuts of meat and I was back at mine by 10:30 - just in time for breakfast.

I was glad I got there early, after 9.30 it got really busy. Great drive back there and back and no camera vans my way ! Thanks to the one of the GT3 convoy for letting me out at the roundabout nearby.

Didn't get to see everything, but what I did see.. Wow!!

Biggest one I've been to by far, half the circuit used. Saw a few "firsts" including an Aston Martin Bulldog.
