Just the one so far, but this was probably the highlight of yesterday at the Festival for me.

Love this angle in your photostream, where were they taken?

Sir Chris Hoy's Molecomb crash 10 minutes ago. He was unharmed. The car was totalled.

Is there a video, wish he'd stick to what he knows!

Was it totalled? Watching it on live streaming, seems like all the straw bales gave it a relatively soft landing.

Top Secret location... ;-) actually.. Second crossing from the top on the left (f1 paddock ) side, pretty decent place to watch from..

That's definietely bent. Airbags deployed, front end looks very sorry.

Some of mine from yesterday. Went armed with my sisters' DSLR camera because last time my camera phone didn't do any justice, however I'm a total ameteur so these are the best of about 250 pictures! The majority of which I managed to focus on the crowd but blur the car, the opposite effect I was after.

I think this was the best picture I took all day, albeit not a patch on the pictures already in this thread!

They tarpaulined the front end before hauling it out. But we could see that it was caved in. In fact there was a bit of a gasp from the crowd as they glimpsed the damage.

Hoy appeared after a quick check up in an ambulance. He waved and got a huge cheer!

The crossing that is buggies only now (#9 iirc)? If so I think that's where I used to shoot from, angle looks a little different now though as I don't think you could see up the hill before (although I last shot there 5 years ago!)

What is it he's trashed, can't make it out from that shot.

I was quite surprised how much bigger the Alfieri was in the flesh compared with earlier photos which suggested something nearer 4200 than MC12 (!)

His daily is a GT-R, and it's not as though he's not had a shed load of driver/racing training in the past couple of years, so probably as qualified as anyone wink

Is it not a wide idea to disable the airbags when wearing a lid, or have I made that up?

Dario just tweeted my photo...

Goodwood FoS 2014 by Harry_S, on Flickr

I didn't switch off email notifications, that was a mistake given that he has 127,000 followers and it's also been retweeted by at least one other IndyCar driver in the past few minutes wink

Was at the other end of the grandstand when he went, made a terrific thud!
Anyone see the front before they covered in a tarp?
