As mentioned on the first page of this thread a small group of us will be meeting at Guildford Cathedral(GU2 7UP) from 6:30am with a view to leaving at 6:45 sharp on a pre planned route to Goodwood that should see us arrive at 8am or a few minutes after.
Anyone is welcome to join though maniac drivers need not apply...... we know from previous experience that the police are well aware of these meets so progress will be brisk but sensible smile

I just created this hot hatch bingo for the kids. Feel free to print it off if you're taking any little ones with you...

I have to say I did not enjoy today's breakfast club. I was only up there for about an hour and a half. If that. It was more like 'Chav Sunday'.

Just slightly disappointing for me, thought this would have been a really good one.

Was a fairly good turnout (the weather helps though.Liked the tidy looking 205s astra gte and the like of that era.One thing I did notice though is this craze with guys growing these poxy looking big beards all I can say is if that is the IN look at the moment then im glad I am not a religious follower of fashion.all in all though a nice morning.

That's a shame. In what way was it a let down for you?

I really enjoyed this mornings breakfast club. Yes there were the odd chaved up hatches but no worse than some of the chaved up super cars at super car Sunday. There were lots of great cars to look at, 205s, Deltas, Cosworths etc etc
And for me half of the fun of the breakfast clubs is the social aspect, I had a great run there and back and enjoyed a full English with some great company and enjoyed chatting to a few owners of some nice cars.
One thing in particular I did notice and was topic of conversation with my friends was how well looked after and how much pride people take of their hot hatches regardless of their make/model or value compared to some of the more expensive vehicles you see at Goodwood.

Our Paul Smith Mini attracted alot of attention all morning, has anyone got any decent photos of it?

It was evident that today's meet brought a different scene along.
I do own a hot hatch, it was there (205) but was surprised that there was so much more modern tin around.
Still nice R5's, integrale's and a superb one owner 130tc.
Nice to catch up with the 205 boys.
