Little bit annoying to find out the testing was completely closed to the public today but I suppose they are building all the stuff inside the circuit too.
it was ? I just drove straight in! .. only stayed for an hour... there were actually quite a few joe public there too, had a chat to "cap guy" and "fellow sony guy" after some jobsworth asked them to move from near the chicane! (he refused to move and asked him to get someone with higher authority!) (hello if you read this, I suspect you are PHers! .. I was jeans and grey t-shirt guy...)
yes there was loads of building going on, but just park sensibly and watch your back and it should be OK...
I drove in the main entrance , was advised by a very friendly security guard to leave my car in Car Park C , and enter on foot from there .
However the security guard at the pedestrian entrance wouldn't let me in , saying that a Supervisor had instructed no entry without a pass .
I absolutely understand that works are in progress , however I do feel it heavy handed not to allow what would only be a very small group of enthusiasts on site .

I just went in, slowed and nodded at the guy on the main gate, went to the tesco carpark (no space!) then went to the gravel carpark opposite and squeezed in! I did wonder where everyone was parking! there did seem to be a lot of spectators around!
if they don't want people there they should just close up and keep the gates shut!

I was told this by the gent on the main gate again when I tried to get in the girl wasn't having any of it. I explained I was also there to buy tickets for the members meet so said I'd just walk round and see her on the inside. Proceded to the main gate and was greeted with a very friendly "hello again" However the security guard at the pedestrian entrance wouldn't let me in , saying that a Supervisor had instructed no entry without a pass .

Had a great day at goodwood today, had no trouble getting in. The nice man on the gate looked at the PH sticker in the windscreen asked me to fill out a pass at the gate and parked in the gravel car park behind the start line. Nice breakfast at the aero club to. Thank you to Goodwood team for a great day out.
