Hi all, just to address a couple of points:

There was a small amount of time this morning when the website wasn't discounting the tickets down for GRRC members. Apologies - this was fixed mid-morning & we will be refunding everyone who was affected by this over the next few days. This only affected online bookings - telephone orders were unaffected.

As a GRRC member, you are able to buy as many tickets as you like.

Grandstands were paid for last year as well. Entry tickets & grandstand prices are held for GRRC members at last years prices, until 31st December.

Thanks,
Paul

Paul, the website hasn't been fixed. I've just booked my tickets and have been overcharged.

I take it you can go to the circuit office and buy them?

Or ring them? Much rather talk to a human being than taking my virtual basket to a virtual checkout.

Thanks for the feedback all & apologies for the bug online. While its being looked at, just to ley you know the payments are fine over the phone & we are open 7 days a week - 01243 755055. The front desk at the motor circuit is open 6 days a week also (closed on Sundays). I'll keep you posted about online discounting - all online payments that are due a discount will be refunded. Thanks again - Paul

If they had a room available it would have been booked! Its a pity as we have always wanted to stay there.

Or a little cheaper and less ostentatious:

Still only 20 minutes away.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Its quite difficult to pick somewhere especially when I keep thinking about the fact that we will not be there most of the time. We spent most of yesterday browsing the internet but just couldn't decide what we wanted. We have stayed at Amberley Castle a few times which is fantastic but seems a bit over the top when used for just somewhere to sleep!

Rang this morning and got straight through. Much quicker than the website as well as much nicer to chat to someone

Just a quick note to let you know that the issue with discounts not coming off online for 73rd Members Meeting tickets has now been resolved, so thank you again for all your feedback. If you have bought tickets online already & the discount wasn't taken off, then one of the Ticket Office team will be in touch shortly.

Glad to hear the positive feedback about the team while some of you have booked over the phone, it really is much appreciated!

Thanks again
Paul.

This is interesting. Normally this time of yr the forum is full about the Revival. The members meeting over 6months away is dominating the forum.

As those of us who attended earlier in the yr suspected the MM is the new Revival smile

Going to book my tickets in the morning over the phone I always find it a more pleasant experience speaking to the team at goodwood than trying to use their slow website.

The MM seems to be more about racing (as the original Revivals were) the Revival now is about theatre.
Its a great show with a little bit of racing between the acts.

Yep. The Revival has turned into the FOS now the merchandise crowd have "discovered" it. As a rough rule of thumb, as soon as you see anybody wearing a Williams F1 branded item that is when you know an event has departed the envelope.
