Sorry if this is abit of a stupid question, but does anyone know if the Hill trophy and the Mclaren trophy will be racing on Sunday?
They are the two races I really specifically want to see, and if they are both on Sunday I will just get a Sunday ticket, rather than a weekend ticket.
Last year it was qualifying Saturday with 3 races and the rest of the racing was on the Sunday. Nothing has been released yet for this year. They are the two races I really specifically want to see, and if they are both on Sunday I will just get a Sunday ticket, rather than a weekend ticket.

Does anybody actually care about the whole house/points rubbish?.
Certainly me and my guests do, we find it adds an extra element to the whole event athough we didn't take part in any extra curricular events we found during the racing it made it more exciting cheering your houses drivers. This year both my guests are insisting we partake in the events. DJRC said:
They are only at the Revival because they have moved on from the FOS. The wearing of any automotive branded gear should be banned in any civilised environment.
Smart dress should enforced with flame throwers.
This I do agree with. And I was glad to see that the majority of spectators at last years members meet followed the guide lines. I did see a couple of gents in pantaloons de nimes which wasn't in the spirit however coupled with a blazer they still looked smart. Smart dress should enforced with flame throwers.
However I am concerned I haven't seen it highlighted about the dress code this year. Just a small piece on the FAQ page.

Can you just turn up to the test days as a 'normal' spectator and stroll around?
Is there any charge? Would the 10th March date be busier as it is closer to the event?
Thanks
Steve
Open to anyone as is most days at the circuit however they had security getting very protective of being near the chicane at last years testing for some reason and constantly moving people along. Any other track day or Southdowns rally it would not be an issue. Is there any charge? Would the 10th March date be busier as it is closer to the event?
Thanks
Steve

... did we get to the bottom of why they were pointlessly moving people from around the chicane in the end ?? (or was it just a jobsworth ?) - that was at Revival testing if I remember... MM testing last year was FOGGY one morning!
(proper excited for the SD Rally!)
Your absolutely right!! I lose track the amount of days spent on that corner. A bit harder at the moment as I'm up north. I remember waking late panicking I'd missed the morning of MM testing and arrived just as the fog was clearing so a quick lunch in the aero and onto the chicane. (proper excited for the SD Rally!)
Yeah think it was just jobsworth. I hope.

As long they are "high speed" runs not stuck behind a Reliant Robin pace car 0llie said:
I ordered my enamel badges on Friday 30th Jan, and had them all delivered by Wednesday 4th Feb, sounds like I've been very lucky Beginners luck perhaps, this is my first year as a GRRC member
Welcome to the club. I highly recommend the members day in the summer as a must attend event. It's about 20 selected members cars on display, a live band and some rides for the children. Then what would be the F1 paddock at FOS is for parking and that is a show all in itself. Crack out your tables and chairs and the odd gazebo if your into a bit of shelter and set up on the lawn in front of the house and crack into your picnic you prepared the night before.
It wasn't overcrowded and certainly something special that my family keep talking about.
