Silly Question Time. I have friends coming over from the USA and want to attend the FOS. Any chance of them getting tickets now?? Also anyone got any idea of how many people per day come to this? Thanks guys.
Looks like there is still tickets for sale, the wiki page notes that attendance is capped at 150k. Just need to check on the web.sandeep7 said:
So would jeans be fine to wear ?
70% of people were as per the dress 'code', 20% were slightly more casual (i.e. trousers, shirt, sweater but no tie, like me) and 10% were in 'full casual' mode, i.e. full Subaru WRC gear. You won't look out of place in jeans, don't worry. Just wrap up warm!It is extremely cold, those that got there at gates open got incredible blue skies but it quickly clouded over.
Fab day so far anyhow, the three demo runs were incredible, in my opinion. Some of the F1 GTRs were properly on it, seeing 5 come round a corner (the front one with more than a dab of opposite lock!) then nail it was an experience I will never forget.
Amazing first day, started off really sunny, but then got quite cold. I lasted till 2pm, before I went back to the car to get my coat !!.
Lots to see, the McLaren F1's all in a line and in action on the track was amazing.
Some photos from today can be found here.....

For those going Sunday, wrap up warm.

Dress code states 'no blue jeans' so I'd assume that other colours (particularly red or mustard most likely) will be just fine
