So as all GRRC members have probably seen in the recent email that's gone out, information and dates will be announced Friday.
So the question is with all the discussions of people not attending this years event for different reasons. After seeing how successful it was and the good feedback from us that went will you be attending if the dates are suitable for your diary?

Absolutely, yes. I shall be buying my tickets when they are released just to make sure!

We spent our wedding anniversary at the Goodwood Hotel and the 72nd Members Meeting last year and it was one of the best motorsport and evening entertainment events ever.

We'll definitely be at the 73rd so long as it doesn't clash with my 65th birthday when we'll be skiing in la Plagne and I'll be having a go on the Olympic Bobsleigh Run to mark the occasion.

I should put my view as well.

I will certainly be going again. My main concern is the amount of tickets I will be able to purchase ideally I need 3/4 but last year they originally limited it to 2 per membership prior to allowing people to purchase more tickets.

It was by far the best Motorsport event that I have been to so far.

Absolutely! Was a great event earlier this year and if the 73rd is anything like the 72nd it should be a great success.

I love Goodwood been to every FOS, Im in the GRRC, always popping in there on my bike, have done it all. However for me the one big issue of the 72nd Members meet was not letting the F1 cars go for a time, why o why were they stuck behind F40's? I love F40's but they were in the way.

I was hugely disappointed especially after all the hype, F1 turbos this, Group B rally that, Group C etc! They should be going flat out, that's what we want to see that's what people paid to see, I can go to a Mithril day and watch cars go round the track slowly for free! Lord March, make it happen.

Agreed also that was bay far the biggest let down of the weekend, considering they were using it as one of the big selling points.

Insurance I would have thought...keep the speeds down.

Incidentally what was worse actually were the few owners who bumbled around so slowly that the F40 caught them up!

I hope as a non GRRC member who bought tickets that if they do go on restricted general sale I get a chance.

Was a fantastic weekend.

Have you tried yet? The system appears to allow you to order up to 10. I successfully added 5 tickets to my basket (although I don't need that many so I don't know if it would have let me check out!)

edit: I wish I hadn't tried that. You can't amend items in the basket so I had to empty it and start all over again, which as the system is characteristically slow took a long time.

It also says a members' discount is applied at checkout but it charged me full price.

I found this too

There's also a charge for the grandstands which I don't think there was this year.

I've just had the announcement email with a link to the brochure, which says that members can buy an unlimited amount of tickets until the end of the year.

It also has the members' discount prices, which were not what I was charged. Looks like a system bug.
