They're roughly £100,000 + vat according to my mate who works for BMW. These GW ones have the OMP buckets specced, which is more cash. Looking at the BMW driving experiences they've just introduced, I'm quite up for learning to powerslide in one of these!

Rob
Great pics and I love the ones of my three wheeler.

I'm glad I got out of bed despite the weather and at least by being one of the last to leave had a virtually dry drive home smile

Excellent, you managed to get one of my new motor (the yellow Exige, not the Cerb!)

Thanks!

The colour of your Exige looked fantastic in the overcast weather, you drove from the start line over by the aerodrome and I thought it sounded rather fruity too, wasn't expecting that wink

Looking at your occupation do you get involved in blow moulding on the powertrain side?

Having braved the weather in the Ultima GTR, the drive down was okay as it only started to rain as we approached Goodwood having arrived in good time at around 7:40am, got straight in with no delays... then the heavens really opened up!! Great turn out despite the weather and some very impressive machines. The drive back was anything but okay, the car developed a miss-fire on any number of cylinders, popping and banging and even cutting out at low speeds - as if the weather wasn't enough to cope driving with? Thought it may be down to getting extremely wet - seemed electrical? Had to stop in-between biblical showers, dry out the inside of the dizzy cap, let things cool down and it seemed okay, but then started again much closer to home? Had everything electrical running, wipers, headlights, blower (for what its worth)! Symptoms were akin to the coil failing - some investigating to do then.
Even though we had an eventful journey back, we did make it home and did enjoy the event. Thanks to all who also braved the weather to show off their pride and joy and to Rob for taking a pic of my car.
Cheers, Trevor.

The sound is addictive, so much more complex than the 4cyl Exige I handed over less than 24hrs prior to the event!

Depends on the scope of the project. If air path components (pipes, ducting etc) are part of the development, then yes we engage with suppliers of that ilk, be it for proto or production.

I almost didn't go this morning. I very nearly said no & went back to sleep. But I decided, sod it! Lets do this!

The result? Loads of rain & plenty of great cars!

I decided to take a different camera & some of the pics came out crap (that's to be expected in this kind of crap weather) but quite a few were very good.

I took as many pics as I could & here they are.

Shame this years Breakfast Club had to end like this as if it were dry, then it would have been the best Breakfast Club ever & the track would have been packed to the rafters with even more great cars!

Rob
Cheers Rob, some good pics again, including a couple of my Griff.

Despite the pants weather I thought it was a good turnout of both cars and people, well worth the effort getting out of bed early.

Great morning...glad I went. Amazed at how many braved the weather in machines that many would have kept in a humidity controlled bubble. Not having a "V" to my name, I decided to take the Land Rover and avoid getting bogged down in the car park.

It was deteriorating badly in the downpour at 10-30 as I left - and was absolutely amazed at the guy just arriving, driving into the soggy mud bath of a field...in a 458 !!!! Really ??? It's a V...so why in the field ?? Must have been a big bet. Was tempted to hang around and watch the inevitable entertainment but had to leave.

Whoever you were, a truly great car and sincerely hope you survived unscathed. Bet a good hose down was on the agenda for the afternoon !!
