Hoping to be in convoy from the Heathrow area with the following -

2 X E46 M3's, M3 CSL, M4, 997 C4S, GT3 RS 4.0, 993 Turbo, Z3M Coupe, Audi S5. The 4.0 and the 993 Turbo are yet to confirm but I am badgering the owners hourly at the moment..!

A lack of "Vee" cars but looking forward to the drive down and seeing some of the toys on show once there.

Anyone else heading down from that area?

Jimbo
Sounds good, can I link up with you guys and drive down with you..

I'm in a lowly Z4 (sadly not M), but will be heading down to see the sweet machines on display down at goodwood.

£2 breakfast at Maccy D's all the way, you could get ten cheeseburgers for the price of a Goodwood omelette biggrin

They could also charge £10.00 entry to the event, buy your breakfast and keep the event free.

A bacon and egg roll and a cup of tea at the NAAFI van is an integral part of the experience!

I'll be there in my new marmite car...

An 'ultra yellow' GT4 Anniversary 350z

Hoping there will be a nice selection of V8 muscle and some Italian V12 goodness.
Although I'm sure weather will dictate the selection of cars on show

M3 CSL and GT3 RS 4.0 owners are now likely to pull out. :-( Waiting for confirmation of this. Gutted..!

Still will be with the Ford GT, M4, Jag F Type R and a couple of other M3's.

Meeting at the Wisley services on the A3 at around 6.45am. Anyone else is welcome to join.

frown I'm guessing the owners don't want to risk their rare & desirable supercars just in case there's ice on the road? Or is because they've checked the long range forecasts? Was looking forward to finding them!

The CSL has done 75k miles and is used daily/properly, however the 4.0 on the other hand is dry use only I think. Was REALLY looking forward to going down with them. As you have noted, the forecast is looking rubbish so I have a feeling it will stop a lot of people going down. Let's hope for a turnaround!

I'm hoping for the same!

The CSL owner has no excuse whatsoever for missing out unless he can't be bothered/other commitments.

The 4.0 is one of those cars that's value is rising daily & the owner certainly doesn't want to harm his pride & joy in anyway. But it would have been nice to have seen one again rather then it sitting in the garage all year round.

But hey, theres still a nice collection coming with you though, especially the Ford GT! A car i've always wanted to own. Which one of those will you be in?

Just a word of warning . I'm told the hindhead tunnel is going to be closed on Sundays for the next six so be aware if anticipating going that way.

Maybe they are waiting to decide if you deserve a grid spot!
