Just got home, think I was the very last car but one to leave, Bit damp wasn't it biggrin

If anyone wishes to pop over and clean the car for me, I will make you a cup of tea smile

Better turn out than I thought it would be, it absolutely pee'd it down at times but stopped for brief periods long enough time for the odd coffee and a slash. Good variety of cars too

The rain held off long enough for it to be enjoyable. Fair play to the owners of the Veyron and the Carrera GT for bringing them along. Not sure you'd catch me taking them out in this weather.
Where were they parked didn't see either of those?
The Veyron was parked at the end of the pit lane. The Carrera GT was tucked away in the paddock(????) and to be honest we nearly missed it.
Grateful for the cover at times!!! wink

Was a good turnout despite the weather. Enjoyed the mix of ///M cars and Audi Rs models. Is anyone heading out to this at the end of the month. I'm going, a worthy cause. Similar vibe to the breakfast club meets. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Not if it's going to be full or BMW's and Audi's.
Sounds more like trip to Waitrose than an interesting car meet

He must get really excited going Shopping biggrin

A very good breakfast club. Looking at the weather forecast, in my mind I wasn't going to go but got woken by one of the kids at 6 and it wasn't raining, so set-off at 6.30. Arrived just after 8 and all of the paddocks and most of the track was full.

It was like a breakfast club of the past, busy enough to ensure lots to see and easy to get in and out!

Some lovely pick-up trucks and the white one was amazing.

I suppose its different strokes for different folks?! Personally a purposeful ///M car driven by a decent driver is far cooler than a yank lump driven by an old fella in a cowboy hat and boots any day of the week! Only my opinion though!! Just pulling your leg fatboy!

The cars for lives thing isn't just German cars, that just happens to be my thing. I'm sure that it will be.a great get together with something for everyone.

Fair one. Although, it could've done with a downpour to clean that filthy rear-end off. Looked like you'd been grass-tracking! smile

I almost didn't go this morning. I very nearly said no & went back to sleep. But I decided, sod it! Lets do this!

The result? Loads of rain & plenty of great cars!

I decided to take a different camera & some of the pics came out crap (that's to be expected in this kind of crap weather) but quite a few were very good.

I took as many pics as I could & here they are.

Shame this years Breakfast Club had to end like this as if it were dry, then it would have been the best Breakfast Club ever & the track would have been packed to the rafters with even more great cars!

Excellent, you managed to get one of my new motor (the yellow Exige, not the Cerb!)

Thanks!

Was cursing the weather on the way down. At points roads were flooded etc. However, within 10 mins of arriving it cleared and we got lucky.. Looking forward to 2015!

Pity we missed this one - great theme and turn-out by the looks of it.

Suggestion for The Lord March - how about extending the mechanical theme (as opposed to marque/age) and run Turbo and/or Supercharged days?

Cheers, Pewe.

Can you imagine the hassle the marshals would have sorting this one out on the gate and the bhing that would take place on Pistonheads afterwards! biglaugh
