To be honest this question comes up every year, just read back through Goodwood threads and you'll get all the opinions. Friday is half practice and half racing. All the displays and paraphernalia are there for all three days. Can't remember if the air displays are the same on Friday.

Saturday's at FOS and the revival sell out first as most people will watch Saturday and use Sunday to recover prior going to work. I'm a fan of Sunday but then I'm local and my dad is a fan of Friday, he thinks it's less busy except each day will be sold out in a few weeks.

Sunday - full race card & more parade laps on track
Friday - half practice/half race card
Other vintage/retro aspects pretty much the same...

p.s. regardless of whether you get Friday or Saturday tickets do make an effort with your clothes and don't just leave it to your girlfriend. Even if it's just chinos, brogues and a sports jacket.

And extremely un PH, the members of this forum look down on people profiteering from ticket sales and I believe PH and Goodwood allow us to sell tickets on here in good faith that they are face value.

Plus the fact others will be selling on here at face value certainly limits who will buy it.
