Has anyone registered for soft top Sunday?

Was a bit surprised to be rejected this year and not receiving an email :-(

Especially considering I went last year and qualified for Super Car Sunday and Soft Top Sunday

I suspect that if people turn up not registered they may get in depending how many there are on the day .

I suspect not! Soft-Top Sunday is one of the most popular of the BCs and the weather forecast for Sunday is very good, it is bound to be busy.

How on earth was the Mustang rejected?

I can only assume it's first come first serve as registered a bit later than last year.

Friend with a Z3M Convertible was also rejected

Yes it's a shame as it is a truly lovely example imo which I'm sure would have looked at home in Goodwood's surroundings. Nevermind from the other posts in this thread it sounds like there will be lots of other exciting stuff there and I get to have a lie in!

I suggest a quick call to Goodwood perhaps? Same with the Porsche above. Maybe they think your in a tintop mustang?

Well, if you went last year don't be disappointed at being passed over this year. Perhaps they keep a log and are trying to vary the cars. I know for sure that I saw the same white 60s Alfa Spider several times and as nice as it was it's better to spread it around.

Do you happen to know if anyone can go to the Ferrari Track Day at Goodwood?

Cheers!

I'm don't think you can go "on the track day" itself but if it's like any of the track days I've been to in the last few month then yes. I went last weekend to see about 40 or so 1920 bugattis and alike blaring around on a sprint session. It's heaven if the weather is good - I go most weekends with the missus and see something flying around...

Just got back and welll.......What a load of bks.
Cars like those listed above are being declined whilst motoring blancmange like a run-of-the-mill Saab 93 cabriolet, and one that hasn't seen soap in a while, is let in. A Nissan Figaro? Wow, glad I made the journey. And what's this gem?.....oh, it's a Daihatsu Copen. Epic.
And someone really needs to read up on what constitutes a soft top.
A saloon with the sunroof glass panel removed does not count, and nor does a BMW with a folding HARD top.

What's wrong with the Saab being there or the Daihatsu? They're soft tops and that's the only rule....I was more pissed off at the number of cars there that weren't even remotely convertible!
