Mechanics Outfit - Paddock Access?

As I'm going for all three days this year I thought it'd make a change to wear a "period" set of workshop overalls on one of the days. The dress code on the goodwood website says that a jacket is required for members paddock access, so would I not be allowed in or do they just mean period dress?

You'll be fine. Many mechanics where period overalls and certainly me with the historic aircraft I have worn white mechanics overalls and never had an issue accessing the paddocks. As long as you have the correct pass that is
