When have tickets been made available to non members of GRRC last couple of years?
Seem to remember it was after new year but not sure.

That's only if members don't buy enough tickets though. I believe more members purchased last year than the year before and for the next meet I've gone from 3 weekend tickets to 5 possibly 7 so if every member does the same tickets won't be available to the general public.

I'm on the waiting list so hopefully I'll get a pair of tickets.

And if enough are purchased the waiting list won't be offered tickets.

I think this year or next will be the turning point of being an exclusive members only event.

How long is the wait list? I am not a fan of an exclusive type event, it should be open to all the public.

Isn't that what the FoS and Revival are for? The general public. No point in being a member if there are no benefits.

True but the annual meeting seems to be far better in terms of quality of races etc...

Then join the waiting list, become a member and participate in the event.

I've heard it's 4 years at least so slim chance of getting in there really.

Are you not expecting to live that long?

Also if you know any members they can take you as a guest, I believe.

Well if you don't even go on the list you've no chance.

I joined 3 years ago and I fingers crossed hoping to get in this year

They were doing mailshots to people with no link whatsoever to the GRRC (such as me) in mid February last year and tickets only sold out about a week before the event (and 3 months after they went on sale to the general public). They had my name from years of FoS tickets, I'm not on the GRRC waiting list.

Whilst I've no doubt it will sell out, it only did last year with quite a bit of effort on the part of Goodwood to sell what was presumably a significant number of tickets to the general public fairly 'last minute'.

Either way I was very grateful as it was by some margin the best motorsport event I've been to.
