<<-- FOS Virgin...couple questions...

1. Those that have been on the Sunday, are there normally events which run until closing time? I have full weekend tickets, I'll be taking train back to London that night. Wondering if it's madness getting to the station at closing time? Leave earlier, stay later?

2. I haven't shipped my car over from the States yet frown and it seems like the shuttle is just easier rather than renting a car and queuing. Thoughts? We would definitely get there at 0h-dark-thirty regardless even if that means walking before the shuttles run.

3. Storage lockers available?

Cheers!
shuttle bus service worked great for me last year.
events run until about 5.30- 6.00 on sunday evening
dont know about storage lockers, i have in the past got talking to people on the trade stands and asked could i leave a rucksack with no problem at all

Giving it a break this year with the view to return next year.
Every year they seem to change something which makes it less accessible for the ordinary fan, in favour for some big corporate structure (Audi stand last year)

The main structure will be in celebration of the centenary of BMW, with 1940 Mille Miglia winner, 1983 Brabham BMW BT52 and 1999 Le Mans Winner all being incorporated.

The official charity, the Richard Burns Foundation, has supervised helmet stores at some of the entrances which will also keep rucksacks etc for a donation to the charity. If your entrance does not have a store just ask one of the RBF volunteers for directions. Have a great time.

I've been given two full weekend tickets and i've never been before! Very excited. I'm guessing my best bet accommodation wise is camping? Me and a friend live about two hours from Goodwood but dont fancy driving it every day. Anyone reccomend any good local campsites where we can chuck up a tent for the 4 days?

The ticket price is different for a 'package' ticket which includes entry plus roving grandstand and separately buying general admission plus a roving grandstand ticket.

Can't quickly see a difference in the product.

Does anyone know if there is a difference?

The package includes Entry, Roving Grandstand & Programme Voucher.

If you're thinking of purchasing either Saturday or weekend tickets, they are forecast to be sold out by Monday/Tuesday of next week so don't hang around!! The other days tend to sell out shortly afterwards as customers cross-sell into the remaining days.

Got my tickets for the full 4 days, plus camping sorted. Very excited indeed! Can anyone recommend somewhere within walking distance from the campsite near the airfield to get something to eat one of the nights? As much as I love BBQ food, 5 nights of it is a bit much! I'm thinking somewhere in the village, as the hotel seems a bit of a hike. Any suggestions?

is it only me or does the line up so far seem like a copy of FOS2015
whilst i really enjoyed 2015, i dont want it to be the same old stuff with very little variation.
i would like to see them throw something a wee bit different into the mix.

does anyone agree with this

Agreed. I'm also bored of the "will anyone beat the record" loeb was miles off in a custom built hill climb car so I don't see anything getting close that they will allow a timed run so they should drop the story.

I've found its an event to go every couple of years.
