I like to stay as long as possible but sometimes arrive an hour before everyone starts going (9am) but i enjoy it more when i arrive before 8.
That way i can see as many of the cars there as possible & afford a quick rest from walking in between.
I really hope the place will be crowded to the rafters with Open Tops like it has in previous years especially as i've not been for 2 years. Pray for sun!

I assume I can just turn up and look at the cars
Yep, no problem just turning up to view. You'll get directed to a field (either opposite the main entrance or further down the road), then it's a couple of mins walk.If the weather is nice then it's a great way to spend an couple of hours.

Not sure exactly although looking at this:https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/The+Goodwood+H...
Assuming you mean this hotel then probably a few mins drive, not sure it's walkable as it's quite small country roads around there.

Rejected too.
I've written to ask the reason. If the car doesn't fit the theme I won't apply again. Other than that I'm 99% sure it would have been the only G33 there and they say they want diversity. "Full Throttle" an 800kg car with a 4ltr V8, to me that's a fit.
Things don't seem right at Goodwood at the moment. It used to be run by enthusiast, but in recent years it seems to feel more like a call centre team of "employee"
