I decided to come & see what it was like after hearing & seeing pics & videos of previous Saywell track days. My thoughts? i absolutely loved it! It just happened to be my first ever track day too which made the sight of cars speeding round Goodwood all the more enjoyable, especially the times when i decided to relax & enjoy the spectral. Shame about the noise limits though but can't really complain.

As for this convoy that had 50+ supercars + some "celebrities" which i got on well with & this nutcase who should be stripped of his GTR before he causes more issues? That was a nice, exciting & unexpectedly pleasant distraction & most of the guys organised this on PH in the Supercar section of the forum.

Finally this Chav issue? I doubt i was one of those TBH. Mind you, i did take taxis to Goodwood & back but i did arrive before the chaos & stayed long after they all ran off.

Still, i've decided i need to attend more track days even if i stay on the sidelines the whole time relaxing while everyone else has fun. And taking quite a load of pics... 700+! https://flic.kr/s/aHsksQ9iVK

Rob

P.S. loving the pics everyone else took of this glorious day.

This tt swung his door open shortly after reversing and nearly hit me as I was walking past. He didn't bat an eye lid - Arrogant prick. If the door had hit me I'd likely to have slammed it on his legs!

.... yeh, there were a few groups of "lads" there today... only there for a short time.. the low light included watching some tw@ trying to impress his mates by reversing his crap bucket nissan (?) as close as possible to a P1 bumper... moron. (almost touching)

Instagram Bio says:

"About Me, Bio, Architect by day - Nissan GTR R35 (Pandora) owner by night. Live life to the full and be good to each other"

Zoominfo states he's a 'Technical Co-ordinator' for Barratt London, not quite as glamorous as being an 'architect'(?)

I organised the supercar breakfast meet and drive down to Goodwood to coincide with the Charity Track Day. The breakfast meeting location was private and only for those on the approved entry list. Not only did this individual find out where the meeting place was, but he posted it on Instagram [although he did subsequently remove it when his followers told him to].

Lo-and-behold he turned up, positioned his car blocking part of the entrance and when politely asked to move as he was causing an obstruction replied "No, I want to film the cars leaving and this is where 'I' want to park"

I understand he also attended the Ascot Event despite not being on the entry list and similarly did just what 'He' wanted to do.

From what i've seen & read he hardly lives up to his "....be good to each other" claim, and clearly does exactly what 'He' wants to do, showing no regard or respect for others.

A very sad scenario IMO, I hope he doesn't attend any future PH events.

do you know anyone with a Landie Defender ? with a winch at the front at all ? maybe you should bring them along to the next meet and park it where you want... into his rear bumper...

What an idiot. Its a bit embarrassing for him really, like he realises he's the kid that none want to play with, so he just ruins it for everyone else!

This must have been yours then, lovely car!

surprise, surprise he did the whole park as close as possible to another car thing like at Ascot and Goodwood in central London today with another P1.

And here's photographic proof of what this censored did today. I wonder how long it'll be till he prangs anything or someone (with possibly same IQ) kicks his car?...

Way too close for comfort.

Sorry to hear this Ian, I wondered how/why he turned up! What a prat he appears to be.

I wonder what his employers would think of his behaviour, I know it's not linked to his work activities but you can't detach the two easily these days.

Shame some have to spoil it for so many others frown
