I've been up all night with vomiting vomit and diarrhoea, though it was a bug going round but just got a text from the guy I went to the 74MM with and he's been exactly the same. Could be coincidence, after all, we travelled in the same car but... We both had Full English breakfast and roast beef in the main dining hall on Sunday, wondered if anyone else had suffered? I'm pretty sure Goodwood would want to know if there was a problem with the catering.

Roast beef here too and I've been fine. I think food poisoning would have come on quicker than that

Didn't link it to the Members Meeting but was the same Monday night. Had the chicken and mushroom pie.

Jury out on this one then, I guess it could have been the Haribos.

Traveled half way home on Monday and stayed near Blackburn, woke through the night shivering and severely sick.
Just started feeling better today, putting it down to a virus going around.

Food poisoning would most likely have hit you within hours - our bodies are very efficient at purging itself when necessary.

According to the NHS "The symptoms of food poisoning usually begin within one to two days of eating contaminated food", so timing is about right. Certainly beginning to look like something was a bit dodgy, could just have been one container of food.

YES!

Sorry just seen this and yes I was also very ill on Monday night - exactly the same symptoms as you. I was there on the Sunday and it came on suddenly on Monday night. I had a bacon roll from one of the vans by the main entrance on arrival and had the chicken pie in the Great Hall for lunch. Was with a party of 5 and I know that 2 of them are ok.

A spooky coincidence ????

I live not far from Goodwood and there is currently a vomiting bug doing the rounds at the local schools so I imagine you've picked that up rather than food poisoning. I notice quite a few people don't bother washing their hands after the toilet and so the virus spreads easily.

I've not been well for the past week (dreadful cold and tummy aches - but no vomiting). I watched the 74MM on the livestream. Can a virus be passed by the internet?

Not the internet but certainly your TV/monitor, hopefully you've not watched Dallas buyers Club?
