That was a very nice variety of cars however why have Goodwood reduced the number of cars on show? That was a dissapointment that it took half as long to view the selection on offer. I was also expecting a very high standard of car as that G33 didn't get accepted sadly there was quite a few cars that I felt didn't meet the theme.
Completely agree. I spent a good deal of time in the public car parks looking at cars that should have been on the track, my own included. Not happy.Edited by PD1 on Sunday 5th June 14:24

There seemed to be only about half the cars of previous years. But that was the upper half, the other half that would have been there now being in the public car park or left at home.
Not sure why they adopted this approach. There seemed to be just as many people, but now more crowded around fewer cars! Guess it cuts on marshalling costs? Personally I liked seeing the other odd, older and rarer things that would appear, so I enjoyed wandering around the public car park moire than the main drag I think. I did hear that it got full ... while the track was half empty (!)
Still, I'm sure the chap with the G33 that was refused entry will be pleased to hear that his spot was taken up by a Frog eye Sprite, all 43bhps of it. :-)

Well I enjoyed it!
Parked in the field with the rest of the Ariel's and was duely sunburnt all morning. Good little convoy down but the journey back was awful in the traffic, did some unfathomable amount of mpg, very poor.
I preferred the last event as there was a wider range of curiosity cars, still, I'm just thankful they host it for us all. Highlight was the Bugatti, no, not the new one
I'll post pics later, plenty for the number plate nazis to be getting on with there...and a Honda Jazz on the grid

Very busy and very hot. As has been mentioned, not as many cars as previous years, but still something for everyone I think...

I thoroughly enjoyed the morning, was great to have a spot on the pit straight as well. I do agree that there seemed to be less cars this year, but I still thought the quality was high, my highlights were the obvious P1 GTR and F1 Longtail, but also there was a beautiful Corvette Stingray, and a mint Yellow Delta Integrale that took my fancy.
I thought it was a really good morning.
I arrived around 0930 so probably at its busiest. Overall it was well organised and I had no problems parking get in the overflow car park. Plenty of interesting machinery in the car park as well as the grid.
Obviously the P1 and F1 GTRs were highlights but I felt it was a good mix overall.
I recognised the photographer as Shmee from YouTube. Didn't see his car though. I believe he has a 675LT.
Enjoyed having a poke around the Tesla. It could well be on the shortlist for next family car...

We arrived just before 8am and was put in the car park.Oh well i should of got here earlier i thought. Two hours later they were still letting in cars onto the track. There was obviously some kind of pecking order. I love most cars but found myself getting bored of seeing the same cars at every turn and the same types getting let on track side. As someone said earlier there was a more interesting and varied selection of motors in the car park which should have been on track. There were crowds gathering around a dozen or so interesting cars and thats it. My favourites were the Zonda , Sagaris , Mustang.

Andy not sure there's a pecking order other than those with grid slots, it's more about traffic control and keeping the local roads moving ecsrobin said:

Half the number of cars on the straight and much less further down, I asked the marshall what the reason was and he said it wasn't anything to do with them, just a lot of people hadn't turned up. Very odd. Astounded how popular Shmee is, people cheering when he got out of the car, the power of the interweb.Enjoyed the run back with the MP4-12C, 911 & 2 Astons through the Hindhead tunnel
A few of my amateur pics...
