Free hospitality on manufacturers stands?

Just an update, I went with a friend yesterday and took Mercedes, BMW and Jaguar keys. Access to all 3 VIP areas was fine and relatively painless.
With both Mercedes and BMW it was simply a case of showing them the key and then they let you up the stairs, it appeared to be a 1 out 1 in type of arrangement, but wasn't too busy yesterday so we didn't have a problem.
Jaguar wanted you to give your details and register with them which caused a little bit of a queue, but again it wasn't massively busy so it was fine.
All 3 were providing water, coffee and tea. We did also might have some nibbles during lunch on the Jaguar stand.

I didn't have keys to flash to get into the hospitality areas, the ones of the cars I ownd just flashed a photo from the Iphone and they let me in, I think that It helped that I was from downunder and talked with a funny accent.
The best motor show event I've been to in the world, well worth the visit.

Did the BMW one with friends key each morning for a Coffee.
Went over to the Vauxhall one with my Saab key and chatted to the chap there, was more than happy to let me in with a Saab key despite me telling him its just a posh Vauxhall Was even more friendly than the BMW one in my opinion, obviously lots of kids running around and familys unlike the other ones but didnt overly bother me, the chap encouraged me to come back and make use of it over the weekend and i had a nice chat with him about some work he did for Saab back in 2009.

Spent quite a bit of time in the Lexus owner area courtesy of a friend who's mum has one. Fantastic, free sandwiches, cup cakes, meals full bottles of soft drinks and a pretty good view. Also given the relative lack of popularity of Lexus, the whole area always had fairly low occupation.
As an aside I thought the chairs they used were quite nice, checked the price online and they're £1200 each!

Showed the key for my Monaro at the VX stand to bemused looks. Forgot it's actually a Holden key and doesn't have Vauxhall badging on it. Pointed at the Monaro VXR500 parked on their heritage display and in we went. Free drinks, snacks, comfy chairs, friendly staff. When I owned my TVR the company had already gone tits-up under the Russian. Always wondered what Wheeler-era FoS TVR hospitality would have been like. They'd probably have had a free brothel with unlimited pints of bitter on production of a car key.

What manufacturers did you have in mind Alex ... Riley, Frazer-Nash?
Seriously, if you think that the Revival is anything like the FoS then you are in for a surprise. Hopefully a pleasant one.
I was thinking about BMW as they are partners of the event and seem to have an enclosure at the the exit of the chicane. Seriously, if you think that the Revival is anything like the FoS then you are in for a surprise. Hopefully a pleasant one.
This was just a question, because we are coming from south of France and don't want to miss a good (and free) opportunity to get closer to the action.
But of course we don't expect Revival to be like FOS, otherwise we would have came to Goodwood in july
Thanks to all for your answers.

Ah, I see ... you must mean the "Revivalfest". It's not an enclosure as such, it's part of the motorcycle paddocks where you can buy German food and beer. To be honest I'd never noticed it was sponsored by BMW and I'm pretty sure your BMW keyring won't get you anything there.
Have a good journey.

Best place for a pretzel and a beer and an oompah band, no waving of keys there unless you want to a bit of fun with all the drunken revellers! I believe BMW ship it over from their local brewery to the factory. Have a good journey.
Unlike the FOS hill, where viewing is quite restricted, you can get great views of the action from numerous points on the circuit. IMO a grandstand pass is unnecessary at the Revival unless you're not that mobile. Walking the circuit and watching from various points is a real pleasure.
