Getting out of car park was a bit of a struggle at around 4pm. The grass was ok but the tracks were really churned up and some BMWs and Mercs were really struggling as were some front wheel drive cars with numpty drivers

Left car park M at 3pm and there were couple of BMW's and Merc's stuck in the muddy track up the hill to the exit.
Our front wheel drive focus was ok, keeping to one side of the track, and going into the grass where we could. Could be tricky if there is more rain.

Bloody shame when you get crap weather at these big events, Le mans fared better after a wet start but the ammount of people who normally sit down and take a picnic to sit on the grass might have a problem frown

I only have a 40 mile drive, reading this I think I will take the CRV to avoid a red face.

Righty-o,
I attended FoS on Friday,I have the solution:
Drive to Chichester in whatever car you enjoy driving.
Head to the Chichester train station and park in the large long stay multi story next door, pay the £4.90 for the whole day.
Get a return ticket on the Goodwood bus shuttle for £6 each.

I took a low rwd car to car park M. Locking diff to the rescue on the way out but nothing that bad to shout about. Was told on exit the ground immediately on the right as you enter was for cars with low ground clearance or traction issues. Wish I'd known upon entry. Don't let a bit of rain put you off a good drive as there are good parking options.
