Meant to be parking in the performance car parking area on Saturday. Any update on conditions there would be gratefully received as I'll bring a different V8 if it's terrible!

It's a mud bath people. The damage has been done. Its going to stay this bad all weekend. If you can leave the RWD stuff at home.

Will be my first visit to the Festival of Greed having been able to avoid it until now.

We were going to take the Tamora but have decided against it following on from reports from the site we have been getting since Tuesday.

It's not looking good out there for those without 4x4 so will be interesting to see how the Golf does....

Not a rubbish photo and extremely useful for the thousands of us who are a bit anxious about the mud!

Thanks for posting.

When it actually gets busy (tomorrow) it's going to be chaos even getting in by the looks of things.

I'm also unsure what to do, my first time to FoS - attending tomorrow(Friday) and the weather looks better than any of the other days, just the girlfriend and I. She bought us the tickets...and she's allergic to mud of course.

1) Chimaera or 320d estate?
2) Can we drop off passengers and then go park?
3) Is there a park and ride system/shuttle from Chichester(or anywhere else nearby with hard standing)
4) Are the comments about taking tow ropes genuine??

confused

There is no drop off. Just make sure you have your towing eye in the car as I needed mine today.

It is currently forecast to be dry at Goodwood from 5pm this evening (Thursday) until the end of Festival on Sunday night - maybe a light shower at 4pm on Saturday. That's the latest forecast.

I have no idea how quickly the car park will dry out if this forecast is accurate.

With the amount of rain thats fallen down this way in the last few days, it won't.

We were randomly put into the T&V car park. Which wasn't too bad. Left about 1345 and got straight out.

Not looking forward to Saturday if it Carries on raining. The heavens opened on the way home. We only have a MX5 and its only the Mrs who is insured so think we may struggle Saturday.

Will keep an eye on this thread tomorrow
