Where's car park T, if your coming down the big hill from the Horse Racecourse? Is that the one opposite the (now closed!) road to Lavant near The Kennels?...

Yes, hopefully will be better than the main car parks, however 458's staying in the garage and the Discovery is coming out to play

I'm coming in RS4 with my father in his Range Rover sport and will be happy to tow any stranded people out.

Look for a brace of grey machines!

We should have a PH rescue fleet...I've decided to ditch the Golf R and take the Landy for a decent run down to FoS instead. Also grey :-)

I'm in carpark K - any word on its condition? I could switch cars to a 4x4 but it would be a total ball ache.

Looks like I may have to see if my ST170 lives up to the reputation the MK1 Focus had as a rally car then this Sunday!

K has a little mud in entry, as only 10-15 cars were parked in it today, as it was not in use (supposedly)

Going tomorrow but now can't decide which car park to go to.. I usually park in M but as this has probably churned up a fair bit today and is fairly steep would I be better off carrying on past the race course and parking in N, P, Q or S behind the main paddock? Are these flatter than M?

It was definitely muddy down there but easiest journey in and out I have had to goodwood.

Car park A was good if you stuck to the central road on the way out.

The muddiest areas seemed to be around the largest sponsors. It was surprising to see people in flip flops though!

It's all about the tyres. I would offer to tow but I don't want to come across all "Emergency Response".

When people say they're in a certain car park what does that mean?

Also does anyone have a map of the car parks? More for choosing where I'd like to be closest to rather than mud!

View on the way out today.

No issues for me with mud as my mate took me in this (although cloud tried to ruin our day!)

Felt for this guy. Such a shame that its so difficult to bring nice cars to these things sometimes. The traffic exiting the car park was ridiculous. The usual people flying down the outside of a field to then arrive at the front of a queue. This time however, they were getting stuck in the quagmire and then getting in the way of everyone that had been waiting patiently to get out. Hopefully something will be one over night. All of my pictures come out sideways

I dunno, that could be an inspired choice of footwear. A free pedicure that requires nothing more than a quick session with the hosepipe by the back door when you get home.
Trench foot aside, of course.

Didn't your mate ask you to stop telling people when you told me this in the paddock? biglaugh

May leave my car in Lavant and debunk into the RR Sport to save mine from the risk.

Nice Landy btw.

It's carnage in the car parks this morning. I'm in a Disco so no issues but many 2WD's are struggling. Queues on the approaches are massive as well as people are getting into the car parks and getting stuck.
If you are coming tomorrow or Sunday and have a 4WD option then take it. Do NOT bring your pride and joy!

Thanks. Now there's been a vote to leave, I'm hoping production can now be restarted ;-)
