Sod it, I'm taking the Vantage.
Life's too short to worry about some mud.
It's your call, but I would seriously think twice about that. We were there yesterday at 8am and as we pulled into the main flat level car park ( the one where you walk through the golf course to enter) there was a new Mercedes E class absolutely stuck up having just driven slightly off the access road onto the muddy grass and was sat there going nowhere.Life's too short to worry about some mud.
I chose to use my wife's X5 rather than the Ferrari after watching the weather forecast and very glad I did, I think I might still be sat there right now.
The photo below is in the grounds, immediately next to the Jaguar Land Rover stand, this shows the way that the mud has spread over the metal walkways, this isn't the worst of it by a long way.
I hope this helps give the least some idea of what it was like, sorry didn't take any other pictures of the mud.
It's a bright sunny day today at Goodwood! The campsite is still an absolute mess (not sure how or if we'll get out) but the event is so much better mud-wise than yesterday. The vast majority of walkways are fine, but the grassed areas are still either muddy or, at best, very moist. Sorry, can't comment on the car parks.

How's the Performance Car park holding up?
It was fine there today, no problem at all. It's was dry, and sunny virtually all day!My Audi left as clean as it drove in.
Aside from having to pussyfoot around the odd bump I could have brought any car. The traffic in and out on the other hand......not sure either of my more exciting cars would have enjoyed the clutch burn and moving at snails pace. So glad I didn't bother. But if it's car park Anson you are worried about, don't.
That 1M looked stuck but it was in the only bit of soft mud I saw all day!
There was a 599 GTO - who was allowed to park at the bottom of the hill near the entrance of the car park I was in - and it looked like it had just rolled off the production line.
If there's no rain tonight, tomorrow could be ideal conditions. There's very little dust, plenty of grass, just several entrance / exits closed as they were torn up on Thursday so the traffic is next level.
Both in and out. Puts me off going again. More time in the car queuing than I spent there. Chaos.
