you always used to be able to walk right through the carpark into OTR without any ticket requirements / check...
ticket people were always at the bridges and entrance to the circuit ?
unless they will now have the ticket checks between carpark and OTR ?? (and none at the circuit gates ?) but this seems a bit "porous" to me ??

I have it confirmed by Goodwood ticket office that entry to over the road will be ticket only
It will be interesting to see how they put this into effect. It will obviously cause chaos if they ask drivers to produce tickets on entry to the car parks so that can't happen. I can only assume the car parks will be gated off from the "over the road" displays. That kind of defeats the object of going for a wander in the car park... RichB said:

The car parks (including the tax exempt car park B) will not be affected by the ticket scanning over the road. The scanning will be taking place past the allocated parking areas.
A response from Goodwood on the GRC forum syas that this new restriction has been put in place by the council. Presumably because of traffic volumes.~iw

Hello All
As in the past years I have gone to the Goodwood Revival and also to Over the Road on the days I could not get tickets for.
Also I come all the way from British Columbia Canada with my family and at great expense to attend the Goodwood Revival.
As pointed out in this thread you will now need tickets to even step foot in Over the Road.
I am at a loss as to what to do for the days I do not now have tickets for being Friday and Saturday.
Do you think they would consider selling ticket just for Over the Road in the future? I am sure many vendors would be upset at the loss of customers. As I spent a ton of money in previous years at all the vendors there.
In Any event, I am in need of Tickets for Friday and Saturday should anyone have any extras to dispose of.
I have 2 tickets for Sunday for my wife and as well entries for my 2 small children.
I have emailed and asked Goodwood Tickets if I should need child entry tickets as well for the other days should I happen to buy a pair for Friday or Saturday for my wife and myself privately. I was informed by Goodwood tickets that it would be fine as they both under age and would not need a general admission ticket if we also had one for each parent.
So again I am coming a long way and I am in need of 2 tickets for Friday or Saturday.
My wife has suggested if I could only get one ticket for Saturday, she would take my daughter somewhere else for the day and my son and I could enjoy the full day at Goodwood, whichever day that might be.
I would much rather her there.
So if you have any tickets available to purchase for Friday or Saturday, please let me know at minifreek@telus.net
Thank you very much
