Anyone going to/displaying at Wings & Wheels this year? Just got through tickets for the motoring demonstration in the Range Rover SVR.

Came on here to ask the same thing... running up the runway both days in the 360.

Camping overnight if anyone else fancies a beer?

Is the camping on site? I had not thought of that? Sounds like a plan smile

Yep, I mailed the organiser this morning to check and he replied that camping is on the grass area outside of the paddock, no facilities other than a toilet though...
I'm going to take a disposable BBQ, a few beers and my camping gear and that'll be that!

Ah, good to see fellow PHers going to this event. Currently looking to attend this for the first time as I usually go Brands for the Lotus Festival.

I'll be blatantly cheeky, if some of you are exhibiting/partaking, would there be any spare free tickets to hand at all??! Be grateful of any offers. Looking to do the full weekend camping over smile

Thanks!!

Will be there on Saturday on FDMC stand in the paddock area and hopefully max out the s/c Eunos on the runway.
Should give some of the more exotic cars a run for their money up to about a ton+....
Drop by to say hello.
Cheers, Pewe.

I've been twice. The first time about four or five years ago when I had a great time. The second, last year. When it took two hours to crawl in and queue for entry before being met by hordes of people crammed into a very small general area.

Never again.

I went 2 years ago, when it was fairly busy but manageable and last year where, as you say, it was manic....
I suspect last year was caused by the attendance of 558 as every show I went to where she was performing was 50% busier than previous years.

People still planning to head to this?
Weather forecast looks pretty awful for both days, I'm in two minds to be honest, it's a fair way to come
