Motorcycle parking (hard standing)

Does anyone know where the hard standing for motorcycles is in the public car parks ?

The Goodwood site discusses it but doesn't show where it is. Went a couple of years ago and the marshalls weren't much help so ended up in one of the fields

Going Friday, and it's busy when you get there so would be good to have a plan as to where head to !

Hi

Yes there is hard standing for motorcycles. I come in from the south (A27) and its in the car park on the right, the last one before the circuit. There is also a helmet store.

Google maps is 5 years old for the area so still can't see it, but will aim there

The hard standing is temporary. Its made from the same stuff as the temporary roadways they put down. When you get in the car park ( I think its Car Park C?) its on the left hand side adjacent to the main road. I've been parking my bike there for years without any problems.

They have a bike area for classic bikes towards the front area of the Pre 74 car parking area (car park B). I don't know if they issue free passes as they do for classic cars but I would guess that if you arrive on something suitable you might be able to blag your way in.

Will be on something fast and modern, so no amount of blagging is gonna cut it !
