Heading down in my Caterham.
Last year on Goodwood Friday I was on the M25 heading to Mount Vernon for blood tests as I was having chemo. I was passed by 3 convertibles who's lady passengers waved as they went by, obviously heading to Goodwood. As soon as tickets went on sale I got some for Saturday as a statement of intent that I WOULD be well enough to go. And I am!

In my dreams (after that lottery win) I'd be driving down + friends in my W. O. Bentley 4 & 1/2 litre. In reality we'll either be in Alan's slightly ratty XJ X300 or, more prosaically, in my C-Class estate if we have to get two others into the one car as well as 'im and me.
However, we shall all be properly dressed...
To pick up on an earlier comment, yes, we too always, always, have a nosey round the public car parks as there's some great car-spotting to be done out there. Maybe we should start a "rarest car spot at Goodwood thread" the following Monday. I'll get my camera..
