Hopefully looking to go to my first one October. Starts bloomin early though and I am 2 hours away.

1. When is a good time to arrive?
2. Where to the 'normal' people park? Is it a good carpark you can have a nose around as I am sure some lovely cars park there.

8am is a good time.

Parking is in a field or on the track if it's been wet for a few weeks.

A lot of the "exhibitors" start leaving by ten a.m. so really the earlier you can get there, the better. Place is pretty much empty by twelve. I've never got stuck in the parking field even in torrential rain (though a bloke with a DB6 did need a spot of assistance that day). Goodwood seems to feature an especially tough grass so even when it's sodden and slippery as hell it resists turning into mud surprisingly well. Strange but true. Disabled/motorbike parking is on hardstanding int he circuit itself... and sometimes if you have a cool enough car and there's space the marshals will let you in anyway

Has anyone heard anything back about the Italian Breakfast Club in October? I applied months ago and it's getting pretty close to the actual date. The previous years they have replied a month before but nothing in my inbox as yet.

Nope, nothing yet. I guess they are still packing up after Revival.

No sign of any email for me.....hopefully they are just slow at sending them out.

Edit:

Actually....just checked out my registered vehicle on the Breakfast Club and it says Accepted. That means I'm displaying...right?

If so see you all there.

You'll need the emailed pass to get in. The emails are always a bit irregular but you should get one eventually ... unless you have a BTInternet address in which case ring the office.

I thought I'd go in my Japanese jalopy paperbag Buck the trend, like..

...actually, it's one of the perks of having a disabled parking badge. They let you into the circuit anyway. Actually, the last few Breakfast Clubs I've noticed a whole shedload of (often very interesting) stuff parked up in the circuit carpark bit that has nothing to do with the theme. Dunno if it's a Member's parking thing or what

Do I need a pass if I am only parking and not putting my car on show?

Nope, they just direct you to park in a massive grass field with all the other punters

Ta, I'll be in a lotus so won't be able to show. I'll join the rest of the mob.

I've just applied so I'm hoping I get accepted at this late stage.
