Totally forgot about this. Just went to register and lo and behold they're using a photo of my car as the promo image! It's the yellow Renaultsport Clio
Will probably be there but won't be parked on the start/finish like last year.
You may be out of luck https://www.goodwood.com/grrc/event-coverage/break...Will probably be there but won't be parked on the start/finish like last year.

Spoke with the office earlier, too late for registration to get fancy parking/display but still welcome to come along and park with everyone else not displaying.
For future reference when the 2017 dates and themes are announced you can register for all that you meet the criteria for at the same time. I only took a couple of IPhone photos today. But some on this thread: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Pretty good show but I thought blasting music at 200dB and wheel-spinning inside the ground (bunch of Minis as they were leaving) were frowned upon at Goodwood events?
I noticed that towards the end (11am?)... Wasn't convinced that was the look GRRC were going for...Some interesting metal out e.g. Delta S4 and 6R4 as well as plenty of shiny 205s and alike.
We turned up late so were stranded at the far end of the straight, away from the main action, but we still managed to spend about £40 on food!
Next time we'll head down earlier and try and register for a grid spot. I guess we don't know the dates for the next one yet, huh?

Agreed, also the music was not appropriate considering it's a family event. I've also seen a video of an American truck doing a burnout on the road outside. It's things like that which will ruin it for all when the residents complain. Sadly though it's the theme that generally attracts that crowd (yes I know I'm generalising) dom9 said:

I think GRRC decide who has a grid slot. Some interesting metal out e.g. Delta S4 and 6R4 as well as plenty of shiny 205s and alike.
