There is complimentary parking for all guests at Members' Meeting, but if you are a full GRRC Member and are arriving in a classic car then you may be able to book one of our exclusive parking options. Exclusively for cars 30 years old or more or on the performance car list.

How is the parking at the two Lavant areas (banking and infield) for low cars? We have tickets for the for the MM next week with Lavant parking however I want to check on any clearance issues and also how these parts tend to hold up weather wise based on the rain over the past few weeks.
Both very accessible, you turn off the main road and have a small section of flat gravel to access both areas.
Never had an issue with getting onto Lavant bank but there is a slight gravel incline to drive up, area is well drained and nothing beyond being a bit wet when it rains. Glad I am there this year.
As for Lavant infield, I think there is some hard standing as well as grass but not parked there myself. You simply drive across circuit to access. Am sure someone who has can comment.

Mmm.. Lowness shouldn't be a problem, but potentially the weather might be an issue.One year I was pushing stuck cars out of the outfield Lavant bank area. I think it got closed in the end and tractors were required.
A few years ago, but I think that area is quite soft once you turn off the hardstanding entrance part.
However, that was then - no idea of the ground conditions now, nor what will be expected in a week's time.

I think that's overstating it a little. I recall Lavant Bank being closed one year because it was too muddy to use, members who booked it got a refund. There has been some work on the public fields in recent years but I haven't seen anything done on the Lavant Bank to aid drainage.As we’re now only a couple of days away from the event and the weather has continued to rain, does anybody know if these sections of parking will now be closed off? It’s a catch 22 as I’ve paid for the parking(which can only be used with classics or cars on the performance list) but if it’s going to be a mud bath with cars being pushed and towed out then I’d rather know in advance so that I can arrange to just bring the daily.

Lavant Bank and infield parking was not affected. They have already cancelled the car show in the main car park.From memory last year it wasn’t announced until late on the Friday.
it appears the Members' car show is going ahead after all. Normal qualifying vehicle only rules will apply for Lavant parking.

"PARKING & CAMPING UPDATE
We are doing all we can to protect the car parks ahead of this weekend, but conditions in the car parks and around the event site (especially on the perimeter track) may still be muddy or soft. Please bear this in mind when choosing your footwear!
If you have a pass to park in either Lavant Bank or Lavant Infield car parks, drainage in these areas is quite good, and therefore we will be asking you to please observe the requirements for vehicles parking in these locations. Similarly, the Members' Meeting Car Show is proceeding as planned, and we would ask you to adhere to the vehicle requirements for this car park.
For the public car parks: if you have a choice of vehicle, we advise bringing the one best equipped to deal with softer ground and potentially muddy conditions. There will be tractors and 4x4s on hand in all of our public car parks to tow anyone if needed; please ensure you have your towing eye to hand in case you need it.
If you are worried about the conditions, however, you might consider parking in Chichester (the large, Avenue de Chartres multi-storey car park is conveniently located near Chichester Station, at PO19 8DJ) or travelling by train, and making use of the complimentary Stagecoach shuttle bus service.
These buses run every 30 minutes, or on an 'as required' basis, from Chichester Train Station (North Car Park) to the Goodwood Motor Circuit entrance from 7am until 23.30hrs on Saturday and 20.00hrs on Sunday. There is no charge.
Camping
We have installed more trackway to our campsites which should help you to get to your pitches. However it is likely that people in heavier vehicles will need towing support, which will be on hand. We would advise everyone who is camping to expect some muddy conditions, and please allow extra time to get to the campsite."
