The next breakfast club on 25th June is for GRRC members only, so guess they will see how busy that is. That could be the future
Best one of the year!

GRRC Breakfast Club this morning and what an enjoyable event - perfect weather, a wonderful and eclectic selection of cars and lots of friendly knowledgeable folks to chat to over good quality bacon and sausage rolls and coffee.

I followed this epic machine in...

Roller blinds behind the rear wheels!

Can't be many of these about...

Exotica.... Sinclair C5's!

It was a good one today.
Never busy and very likeminded.
A great mix too.

It was an enjoyable one, got there around 07:15 and was given a nice slot on the track on the start/finish line by the marshals. biggrin

Best BC by far. Great range of interesting classy cars and hardly any ghastly modern bling (and owners).

That’s because us owners are classy people.

Some of the buyers of the new houses on Madgwick corner are complaining about the smell from the tip near-by and think its the councils fault for granting planning for the development that THEY decided to move to. I am sure next it will be the noise from the track/airfield that, again, they made a decision to move near.
If an Environmental Health Officer says its a nuisance, then its a nuisance. It doesn't matter that the complainant moved to the existing nuisance. Ask cockerel owners

A nice Sunday morning out, always nice to do the Members BC, Spitfire was a bonus, even went on the charity tractor ride, great views around the circuit without all the infrastructure of the major meetings.

There was a guy taking photos on the infield, opposite the art deco hangar, of cars leaving. I gave him a wave and I think he got a snap of me. Would be chuffed with a pic of me and my wife, especially after spending 2 hours polishing the flippin car. I was in the red 997 GTS.

Also, to the guy who practically stuck his head through the window as I was driving in and going "is it a manual is it a manual, oooohhhh noooo it's a PDK' - I'm still forming an opinion on your actions

It was surely meant lightheartedly, but felt more like a joke you'd make with a friend than a random, it took me a moment to process it as quite a strange thing to do. My immediate issue was explaining to my wife what the guy was on about!!
