I see Aston martin are still not listed on the goodwood website for the festival, and after speaking to a chap from aston martin with the Aston one 77 in the BRDC area at silverstone last weekend, in his words 'we have yet to confirm aston martin will be at the festival'. Lets hope aston will attend !

Or No one 77, again this year!?...

I would be absolutely gobsmacked if there was not a One 77 at the Festival... surely it defeats the object of building it if you dont publicise it / Aston at these events?

I remember taking my mates son there about 5 years ago, was really hoping to see an F1, and I think they had about 10 lined up... poor lad did not no where to look!

Well, for the Moving Motor Show no presence (as yet) from:

Aston Martin
Maserati
Lexus
Lamborghini
Zonda

all of whom have cars I'd liked to have seen,

and Volkswagen.

Sort of surprising, unless Maserati, Lexus and Lambo are coming in under their parent company umbrella.

Ok, maybe it was a bit of a sweeping comment, but if Aston wanted to put a One-77 in the Supercar Run, would Goodwood would charge them for the privledge ? I thought not, but if they do have to pay, then I have been misinformed and apologise smile

Cars in the supercar run are not paid for by the manufacturer but that's not what Thursday is about.. It's been devised to try and provide the manufacturers with a decent 'motor show' type platform because the other events offered in the UK are stale and the london motor show has been cancelled this year. You should not expect to see just supercars running up the hill on thursday. For instance, BMW will probably have their entire range available for potential customers to try out. The best thing about Thursday for those not invited to test drive by the mfrs is that you will be able to see everything else with far fewer people hanging around. Think of it as the best opportunity to see the paddocks in a calm environment.

Oh and i don't have confirmation but i would be very surprised if the one-77 was not at the FoS this yr..

Hope that helps..

I was just being too generic tbh, CivicMan mentioned no Aston for the Thursday, but he will be able to see them on the Fri-Sun as they would have to pay for Thursday.

I know the Thursday is a different kettle of fish, just me making a sweeping statement...
