how is the moving motorshow diff to a normal day at fos? dont see what the diff is assuming you're not invited to have a go by a manufacturer? is there more on on the thurs than fri-sun?

gates open 7am any idea what time action starts?is it worth being there for gates open i understand that entry limited to 20000 so nowhere near as busy as weekend.i am guessing that all pits and merxhandise stores will be open for masses

Ditto. I can't decide whether it'll be a good call to go thurs or a waste of time. There's not a lot of info about whats on...

Very short answer to the above is that on thursday, the only cars running up the hill willl be performing test drives and they will be run of the mill cars from the manufacturers taking part in the moving motor show - there will be no competition cars or bikes running up the hill on thursday. All (or nearly all) other attractions will be open, supercar paddocks, race car paddocks, cartier lawn, trade stands food areas.. etc.etc.etc.

So, given that I can't afford Grandstand tickets so can never get close enough to the hill to see anything going up anyway, Thursday should suffice?

On this note, often wondered why PH dont come up with a simple, but quality, button badge with the PH logo?

This way we could wear and be recognised and still wear something smart without resorting to PH T Shirts (though obviiously whilst meeting at a PHH stand not strictly necc.)
