No, take the A283/A285, then at Upwaltham turn right on a small road to East Dean, then turn left and head all the way down to Goodwood. You'll miss out a big chunk of traffic this way ETA, don't make the mistake of taking the A286 - the traffic jam down 'Cocking Hill' [snigger] can take an hour to get through.

You could always have a look at the Dash to the cost route that happened a few weeks ago. U might have to modify it slightly but it was a good little drive
