It was a good day to visit wasn't it. I'm also there again on Saturday but feel I could have done most of it today instead and saved myself the cost of a Saturday ticket!
I thought the same . It was very quiet first thing, enabling alot of photo opportunity's. It'll be nice tomorrow to see what I may have missed and take more time looking round, having a beer (£4+ ) and perusing the stallslost in espace said:
Current plan is to get there early tomorrow with my 4 year old boy, is there anything we can head for that he will be able to enjoy - for instance are the Porsche 4x4 rides there again?
After the debacle for the pax rides, they ended up being two hours behind schedule, but the Porsche guys were recommending people head up towards the rally area for a 4x4 trial - so Yesanother Mclaren F1 turned up later in the day and is in the Catherdral Paddock close to the Jaguar XJ220 powered Transit (!) - a longtail GTR #24R in EMI livery I'll get pics of that one tomorrow but here is one someone else took today

I posted this link on another thread earlier, so apologies if you've already viewed them.

The last post (about the EMI McLaren - The old EMKA car I think) points out one flaw with today (especially early today).
Many cars arrived throughout the day - Even at 12, there were a lot of empty spaces in the paddocks and cars still covered in dust sheets. The McLaren and Mercedes team were only just unloading their cars when I wondered by about 11:15/11:30, althought Red Bull, Ferrari and Williams had all got theirs ready.

I left at 1 (well, I fell aslepp in the car at 1, woke at 3 and thought it best to go home ) and even then there was not a lot in the main paddock area. Tomorrow is going to be a good day. Today was good as the crowds were alot less than a Friday, enabling some good photo opp's but the lack of cars on the day was a bit of a let down....

Anyone guess what this is?
Dougie used his bike to get round the place
Jonny Milner - 2002 BRC Champion
Bjorn Waldegard being interviewed by Tony Mason
...and in his Ivory Coast winning Celica
More rally cars ('cos there are never enough on these threads )
...and finally it wouldn't be goodwood without
