I've pulled out another old paddock/pit lane area photo of Goodwood Circuit...

Just amazing how it's changed.

god it looks so different to how it looks now, i do think it looks a bit rundown compared to what the actual curcuit looks like today.

Used to park right there many weekends early '80s. Usually in a friend's knackered Mk2 Cortina or various niche Renaults. Quite a few free sprints to go to then. Sussex CC, Sutton & Cheam CC etc.

Mid 80's did the odd sprint there in my XR3...Also Carrera Sport track days in the MK 1 Escort Mexico Rally car

I remember back in 1986 (I think), I ran round the track for Sports Aid. Which was linked to Live Aid etc.

i was part of the whilst building crew who built the pits in the late 90s, sent a good few months digging the hole for the wooden supports whilst watching the test days, also there when rowan atkinson turned up with his newly acquired mcclaren f1

Used to take my Mexico there in the late 70s.I think this day was a Ferrari Owners day so i sat on the grid with the Magnum PI theme tune blaring out of the stereo
