Goodwood photo comp winners!

After a faltering start the photo comp got going and some very good pics were entered. Here then as promised are the winning entries from those eligable - ie your best photo from the 'hillclimb' at the Festival of Speed!
In third place - Pipes with this well shot pic
A very close second goes to Sean11 for this excellent shot of Jean Ragnotti doing a turn
But my winner is Civicman with this eyecatching shot of the big Mercedes coming out of the first corner - a real eye catcher and it shows you don't need a big camera to achieve results. Well done mate.
So what happens now? Civicman gets to choose Septembers Goodwood subject, start a new topic entitled 'Goodwood photo competition - September', sit it out for a month while others enter, put up with wrongly entered photos and then on the 1st October judge the competition and give the results. Very simple, 1 photo per entrant, stick to the subject - and (this is for Anilj!) don't insult the judge by calling him 'Queen' if you want to win. Right then Civicman whats the subject going to be?
