My company will pay for the shipping , I get a 40 foot container to fill with my furniture etc, and whatever else will fit. I would have to pay all the customs duties and taxes. Any Idea what these are?

Letchworth (North Herts) here - been in the UK since 1993.

If anyone is hooning around Baldock, there is an excellent butchery here which supplies boerewors, biltong, droewors, SA goodies etc - R J Chapman - SG7 5AD

Howzit, And another Saffa ex Capetown finds this section on the site - up in sunny Manchester (still have the braai going and even found a place to get lipice from!)- been here in the land of plenty since '85 with a few years back and forth, don't think I'll go back to live - still bokbevok - even though they are crap - and WP through and through.

Waiting, waiting, waiting for the rugby to start, surrounded by English, being threatened with deportation by my (English) boyfriend if SA win. Thought I'd wander in here to see what's what.

Anyway, ex-Durbs and Cape Town (Somerset West), been here 14 years now.

Howzit ou's. Moved over here in Sept. Much prefer the space and lawlessness of Jozi. The only thing you had to worry about was taxis and the the metro police trapping in the bushes. I've already got done for driving in a bus lane! Too many rules and regulations here. Suppose we take for granted the fact we can do whatever we want in SA.

Bloody hell! Didn't realise there was an SA section here yikes

Been here since '97 now based in Leicester after spending a few years in Northants (Done a few of the Northants runs). But weekends are now pretty much taken up helping out running track days and don't get out to many of the meets anymore.

Can't wait for the summer months again - bring on the Braai's cool

Oh & merry xmas to all thumbup

wavey Guys and Girls.

I'm heading off down to your part of the world next weekend, on our annual pilgrimage to the sun.

Hope all is OK with all your folks at home, appears they have had a similar wet spring as we did here in the UK, pretty bad in certain areas as I understand.

So anybody got any tips on travelling the Garden route?

Yeah, enjoy it! If you can manage to get as far as Tsitsikama, the nature reserve there is well worth a night's stay. Looking out my window here in JHB, it's bright & sunny, although rain is forecast for tomorrow...
