Comment left 7 months ago. Riding like that, I'd be surprised if Andy Ellis is even with us any more.

He's still posting videos, so somehow has managed to live a very charmed life.

His comment on that video :

Cool. If you were a cyclist in London you would know that it works both ways, I come across people crossing the road when it's green for me all the time.

st! people run across the road whilst heavy traffic is stood still and cyclists are riding in between.

I have never hit a person and a person has never hit me.

When/if you do it will be your fault not mine
What a complete and utter cock. Just because other people are being idiots, that gives you an excuse to do stupendously stupid moves?

Its a bloody miracle that he hasn't hit anyone, or hasn't been hit. Absolutely nothing to do with skill.

I've seen worse...

Although I do love the double irony in that vid - both the title 'tool demonstration', and the idea of showcasing a tool to let you change gears (whilst out and about)... on a fixie hehe. Maybe I'll build and demonstrate my own device for changing gears on a fixie: think I'll call it a 'derailleur'. This will have the added advantage of being lighter than carrying a lockring tool aroud, and being usable whilst on the move wink

A derailer wouldn't work on a fixie though, would it, what with the chain tention and that.

He should just get one of these - http://www.sturmey-archer.com/products/hubs/cid/3/...

That footage is speeded up clearly. I can't see that what he 'did to the bus' was any worse than the white Ka driver's actions. I doubt very much that the bus driver even noticed.

I cycle in London everyday, if I had to do that to every dhead cyclist i'd need a lot of handlebars.

It's riding like that that leads to everyone on the road thinking 'all cyclists are aholes, and must therefore be treated like st'. Thanks. Thanks a lot. You know what you can do with your tool.

Not commenting on the cycling but is there really a demand for changing from an 18 to a 19 sprocket en route? Really?

It seems like a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

Really? You cant see how he kept close to the bus and then cut in front? Nor can you see the difference when a Ka driver has crash its called a 'bump' but when a cyclist has the same impact it usually is called a 'death'..... ffs......

I asked a guy today with a comedy expression do the red lights only apply to cars cause you've just cut the last 2..... he was waiting at this one as a police car was on the other side of the junction
