The 48 hour challenge is not on the official Strava challenges page? It's not the first one to be a secret neither.

I'll get nowhere near it this month. I managed two hours on week two (first ride back after a collision in Feb), and doubled it each week to 8 hours last week. Now I'm on 18 hours 13 mins, after a 3+ hour ride on Monday. I'll be chuffed to reach 24 hours this month to be honest, as the road to recovery has been a tough one
Apparently it was only meant for Spanish users for some reason?

It's here anyway

Struggling with this one.
37hrs 27minutes done - the 17 hour ride on Saturday helped.

Unfortunately it ends on Saturday so I don't have Sunday's club ride to get the numbers in.

I've got a couple of hours of commuting, otherwise it looks like I'm going for a Ride Saturday afternoon until it's finished...

I've got all the cycling challenges this year, I don't intend to start missing them.

BTW finally topped the Pistonheads Strava for distance last week smile First time for everything....

How hard is the 48hr challenge?!
I'm on for 1000km for the month and am only just over half way on this challenge. No one in my club is passing it and only 2 PHers appear to have surpassed 48hrs.

Even MadDad hasn't done this one wink

Currently up to 40h 43 mins, plan on a couple of hours spin tonight and hopefully heading out for my monthly 100 miler tomorrow so fingers crossed I might just do it!!!

Good luck smile

The weather on the weekend looks miserable so Tomorrow might be a better bet (depending on your local forecast of course)

Weekend looks awful so I will try to hit it today/tomorrow - if I don't complete it I won't lose any sleep though!

I am at Goodwood FOS on Sunday so fully expect the car-parks to be total quagmire by the time I get there, should be fun in a Cooper S - I can just about get over speed bumps let alone plough fields!

Nowhere near as bad as January, when it was cold and didn't stop raining.... Strange how a few weeks of sun changes perspective completely (mine included)

It would be if Garmin/Strava gave accurate measurements for elevation.

Only discovered my old Garmin was over-reading when I got my new one.... There does seem to be a big difference between units. 10% or more.

If I am on a ride with others with Garmins, they are normally accurate to within a few meters of each other. 10-20m out at the most.
Strava "elevation correction" however can be wildly inaccurate, but on a wet ride when the Garmin altimeter stops working, then its better than nothing.

My phone keeps jumping as its losing gps signal, seems like a common thing with the Note 3 so am contemplating getting a bike satnav.
Would want one that I can use basically like a car satnav but for the bike, I use googlemaps at the moment on my phone with it set to bike and find that works pretty well.

Any recommendations, Garmin 810?

We're hiring a chalet at Camping Cascade which is at the foot of the 'ramp' of ADH.
