What you reckon?

The bit that peaked my interest was the section of 60km/h for 1.5 minutes on flat road. The cornering speeds do seem realistic though. I think.
Looking at the analysis my thinking is a motor vehicle of some kind.
Too harsh acceleration? I'm wondering what you're looking at... I don't want to be a dick and flag it if it's genuine.

Lets look at it logically. Barely rides a bike, rides 6 miles, yet can ride at over 40mph on the flat without assistance?

Its not right either way you look at it. He is either drafting a vehicle or on a motorbike.

I did 40kph for a straight mile uphill assisted with a 50kph hurricane up my jacksy last week so its possible with a tailwind, but rather hooky that hes barely ridden all year

40 mph is a different ball game to 25 mph.

I can scrape up to 37mph on a flat/very slight downhill KOM near my house over 800 metres, nearly killed me (literally) as I ducked my head in to get as aero as poss so had no idea what was in front of me!! Thankfully was 1am in the morning and was quiet . Was pretty happy with it, I couldnt believe the extra effort needed to get from 28/29 av on the flat to 30+ av over a short distance

If he thinks he can hit 43mph on a pan flat road, blimey good on him, guess it would be possible with the wind behind you, lots of POOWWWEER and slipstreaming/sprinting others ...or just lieing...!

I rode with Darren Kenny and Katie Colclough earlier this year, being a good domestique I spent the majority of the time on the front trying to hold the pace at around 22-25 mph - when they took their turn the pace went up to 30+ without too much effort, it only ever dropped to soft pedal up the hills!

Even with them cutting the air I still had to dig deep to A; keep up, B; make it look as if I wasn't digging deep to keep up!

Anyway, go and look at his rides from last year. Its quite obvious it is not real. You don't go from averaging 11 mph on a ride using the iphone app to those speeds.

Theres a few things you can't do on the app, liek search for clubs, other atheletes etc. You also cannot filter segments based on who you follow, or all your previous times - all you can do is who has done that segment that day / week / month.

I figured so. I went searching on the desktop version this morning when I had the laptop on.

Oh dear- hope you got a flameproof suit on?

Actually this is "crazy" without leathers and FF helmet but rather than wear lycra you might as well be naked on a motorway at 80mph :-)

I see Veloviewer are now charging for access, £8.99 or £9.90 per year. According to a blog I saw yesterday.

Can't argue with the chap charging for his work but I do think he'd have been better off making it a couple of quid rather than £10. It's a small amount, I know, but I don't think I'd pay £10. I only use it for the 100 climbs leaderboard. If it were a couple of quid I wouldn't have even thought about it.

I hope it works for him as he's clearly put a lot of work into it. It could certainly do with some polish if he's going to be charging for it. I wish him well but I'm out.
